Collide, Connect, Create - 5th Annual QA Conference

Berkeley, CA - QACON is an annual conference seeking to educate individuals and initiate discussion around the intersectionalities of the queer and Asian communities.  This 3-day conference includes workshops, keynote speakers, community performances, and social events aimed at bringing together those interested in queer and Asian issues.

This year’s conference “Collide, Connect, Create” invests in the opportunities generated when we engage in each other’s struggles and needs, share knowledge and resources, foster political education, and cultivate leadership among students and between movements. Our goal is to provide a forum for individuals, communities, and issues to collide; to connect and build coalition networks; and to create strategies to work across differences. Whether you are working on a particular campaign, reclaiming a Queer and Asian identity, or discovering new ways of self-care, we invite you to join us for a weekend of thoughtful dialogue, social bonding, and Queer and Asian empowerment.
